White Pine County's goal is to move low-income individuals and families toward self-sufficiency and a better quality of life. We strive to ensure that eligible applicants receive assistance promptly and through a process that is as easy as possible.
White Pine County Social Services has very limited emergency or immediate help. Eligibility for services must be established through the application process with an appointment.
Funding for the county programs comes from sales tax and ad valorem taxes (property taxes), as well as from various state and federal grants.
Our trained staff is available to assist you with any questions. Applications and further information may be obtained from the White Pine County Social Services office or online.
