- Instruction for Filing a Certificate

Every person doing business in this state under an assumed or fictitious name that is in any way different from the legal name of each person who owns an interest in the business must file with the county clerk of each county in which the business is being conducted a certificate containing the information required by Chapter 602 of the Nevada Revised Statutes. The certificate must contain the following information:
The certificate must be signed by an officer of the corporation or by each person interested in, or conducting such business. Signatures must be acknowledged before a notary public.
Every change in the ownership or partners of a business under an assumed name requires a new certificate and must be filed with the clerk within one month.
