Responsibility:

• Assistance to Victims of Sexual Assualt
• The following must meet service specific income guidelines;
• Provide, through grant funds, emergency services to those in need to the extent that  funds are available.
• CSBG-Community Services Block Grant, ESG-Emergency Shelter Grant, WSAP-Welfare Set Aside Grant.
• Past due rent/mortgage assistance
• Utility/Security deposits
• Past due utilities (telephone not included)
• Emergency food vouchers
• Emergency gas vouchers for stranded motorists
• Out of town transportation for those stranded within the county.
• Emergency shelter assistance
• Emergency dental assistance
• Emergency prescription assistance
• Emergency Indigent Medical Assistance-County funds
• Indigent burial-County funds
• We also assist Mt. Wheeler Power with administration of the CARE program during the heating season and the Santa's Elves program at Christmas.
• We work with the Boy Scouts of America and the Girl Scouts of America with food boxes at Christmas for those in need.
