Christmas Craft & Bake Sale was a huge success many thanks to all the hands that helped.
And there were many, the Canasta ladies: Mona Clayton, Kathy Cobb, Louann Griffith, Donna Sjogren, Susan Bower did decorating, setting up, and sales. Some crafty ladies that did a fantastic job putting baskets and displaying items: Vicki Pearce, Lisa Davis, Carol Beager, Cozette Eldridge.
And of course all the folks donating items and cash. And those that purchased items.
Thank you to Flora Seely for the donation of a beautiful crocheted blanket for the raffle.
Wayne Tucker was the excited winner.

Thanks goes out to Guy Mathews & Mick Francone of the Knights of Columbus of Sacred Heart Church for bringing smiles to the meals on wheels folks by delivering the 48 quilts donated and made by the Sagebrush Quilters.

Thank you Richard Howe for the donation of Christmas Cookies, we enjoyed at the Senior Center on Fri., Dec. 22.

Heartwarming thank you goes to the White Pine County Clerk’s Office for their donation to the Senior Center for Christmas and especially the special letter that accompanied the donation.

Please take a minute to read it, I have posted it on the bulletin board at the Senior Center.

If you eat alone most of the time make sure this does not become an excuse for eating poorly.
Take turns eating with other single friends. Prepare full recipes and freeze individual portions for later use. Eat near a window or with television, radio or reading material to enhance your meal. Attend church or benefit dinners. These are just a few ideas suggested by Dept. of Nutrition, University of Nevada Reno.   Best idea of all join us at the Senior Center for good food and companionship
