Patrons love the new children's computers
White Pine County Library announces the addition of the one AfterSchool Edge™(6 to 14-Year-Olds) and two Early Literacy Stations (2 to 8 years of age), a complete educational solution loaded with 50 educational software titles for young learners (ages 2 to 14 years of age). These programs offer children a safe, standalone computer not connected to the Internet that is age-appropriate, engaging, and academically relevant for children.
The AfterSchool Edge's and Early Literacy Stations educational software covers seven curricular areas: reading, math, science, social studies, writing, arts and music, and reference.

These programs function without connection to the Internet, so safety and privacy issues are no concern.
They are available on pre-loaded on desktop computers located at the White Pine County Library.
